With the promotion of cloud computing and the development of technology, the number of media resources and tasks becomes huge and these media resources are shared by multiple resource applicants. Meanwhile, how to allocate these limited resources reasonably and obtain the maximum allocation appreciation becomes an eager problem to solve.The cloud media consists of amount of service nodes with different location and performance, these service nodes are connected by the network and provide the service of shared storage, transmission adapter and rendering play. These service nodes are various as their dynamic and heterogeneity. During the resource allocation, the already allocated resources may lead to the failure of this allocation because of the network instability. Therefore, to ensure better QoS and improve the resource utilization the credibility of resource nodes should be made into consideration during the resource allocation.To solve the problem of low resource allocation successful rate, a credibility-based cloud media resource allocation algorithm (CCMRA) is proposed in this paper. First, the resource applicants and resource owners submit their own price and requirement to the resource allocation agents respectively in the cloud environment. Then, the resource allocation agents sort these prices in decrease or increase order to get the final trading price. Combined the credibility of each resource node, get the utility value of different sequences. Finally, get the optimal allocation sequence on the base of utility values. The simulation results have shown the efficiency of this algorithm.The innovation point of this paper is that to improve the resource utilization and QoS taking the credibility of resource nodes into consideration on the base of the continuous double auction mechanism on economics. A credibility-based continuous double auction model is proposed, and the cloud media resources are allocated on the base of this model:Transfer the resource allocation problem into the matrix problem; allocate resources on the base of the optimal sequence.Resource allocation plays an integral role in the cloud environment, and is important to the running of the whole system. The resource allocation algorithm is an important standard to measure the system performance. So the credibility-based cloud media resource allocation algorithm of this paper is a valuable algorithm updated and improved on the base of former results.
