With the rapid development of the manufacturing industry, more and more complex surface measurement and reconstruction are needed. The current methods include: optical projection method, coordinate measurement method, laser measurement and so on. The methods above have the common problem: low efficiency in quantitative measurement, high requirement for measurement environment. In order to solve this problem, we proposed the non-contact binocular vision measurement for complex surface measurement; it can be applied to the complex surface size measurement, shape detection. Its test operation is not only simple but also can be applied to the online test with low system cost. The method can obtain many data point of complex surface more efficient through a single measurement with a high precision(the highest accuracy can reach 0.05mm).It has unique measure advantages in soft surface(foam mould), heating casting(high temperature work piece) large curved surface. Therefore it has an important research significance and practical value on the measurement and 3d reconstruction of complex surface.Our target is to measure the complex surface quickly. In order to finish popularization of this method to most of the complex surface, the hydraulic turbine blades are selected as the research object. Around the size measurement, the works of research include:Automatical reconstruction of complex surface 3D-model is based on measuring point sets. By taking Hydraulic turbine blades as the research object, we will study its automatical reconstruction. To obtain the point sets, we use the curves to express the complex surface and then use point sets to express the curves; at last we use measuring method to get point sets. The sampling points are obtained by measuring equipment on the basis of the method above. On the basis of the obtained internal and external parameters, we finish the matching of features, realize the 3d reconstruction of the feature points, and acquire geometry size of object. The measurement can realize automatic measurement of geometry size of object. The precision satisfies the accuracy requirements.
