Target location based on integrated radar and communication network is one of the typical applications of multi-sensor data integration technology. Compared with the result of single radar detection, the measurement data of multiple radars can achieve accurate positioning goals effectively. This fusion positioning technology leads the development direction of the future radar detection technology.As the frequency band and waveform of the stepped frequency continuous signal is easy to generate and control, it is widely used in radar systems. For communication purpose, we can use a small portion of the SFCW band as a wireless communication carrier signal. This is equivalent to modulate data in SFCW, it makes the traditional radar platform can transfer data. Thus it can be applied to locate the target meanwhile detecting the target. Aiming at the key issues in the networking system of the SFCW radar, such as the design of single-node, the processing methods of multi-nodes, target location, the main work of this thesis are as follows:1. Aiming at the design of a single integrated detection and communication node, by studying the detection theory of SFCW radar and the modulation form of communication signals, a design algorithm of integrated radar and communication signal is proposed. Meanwhile, a separation algorithm of integrated radar and communication signal is proposed. This kind of node design can achieve the goal of radar detection and data transfer with only one signal. Simulation results show that it can make the SFCW radar system possess the communication ability.2. Aiming at the key problem of signal synchronization and distinction, and ranging between the nodes in multiple detection and communication network, by studying the signal synchronization algorithm among nodes, we solve the problem of signal synchronization and demodulating between each other; by studying the distinction method of the integrated radar and communication signal, we solve the problem of signal distinction and separation in multi-nodes detection environment; by studying the two-way time of communication ranging algorithm, we solve the problem of how to range between nodes. At last how to establish a relative network coordinates of integrated radar and communication system is proposed. Simulation results prove that these algorithms can be used for processing between multi-nodes.3. Aiming at the target localization issue in integrated radar and communication network, by studying the principles and relative merits of several traditional localization algorithms, a modified trilateral ranging localization algorithm based on centroid localization is proposed, solving the problem of impractical application of the trilateral ranging localization algorithm and the huge fault location error in centroid localization algorithm. This algorithm can achieve accurate positioning of the target under multi-nodes detection environment. Simulation results show that it can improve the result of target location to some extent.
