Based on the see-through-building system, the human imaging and tracking technology can achieve the human images and locations through the wall. Besides, it help users improve sensory ability behind the wall. It is very important to provide the reference information for surveillance for anti-terrorism, disaster rescue and arrest in the urban. In this paper, a lot of key technology is discussed, including the pretreatment method of clutter, calculating the focusing delay when multiple walls are passed through, and tracking the moving targets in enclosure space.1. The echo model of see-through-building radar has been built and the principal component has been analyzed. The main signal processing about see-through-building radar has been researched and present.2. Aiming to deal with the disturbance of the walls’ strong clutter, a practical method is researched to eliminate the clutter. The measured data is showed that the method is useful. Propose a method to deal with the multipath clutter based on range profile and the measured results are used to validate the method. The imaging algorithm about see-through-building is researched and influence of walls’ parameters is analyzed.3. Because the multiple walls can defocus the images of targets and displace the targets from their true positions. Five different algorithms are present to solve it. Based on the same relative permittivity or the different relative permittivity of multiple walls, the algorithms are showed to calculate the focusing delay. To simplify the calculation of Snell law’s method, based on iteration to solve the incidence angle, a new method is provided. With regard to the inhomogeneous walls, an algorithm is showed based on iteration to solve the incidence angle after the model about inhomogeneous walls is built. Actually the walls’ parameters are unknown in most cases. Then the self-focusing method is provided to solve the calculation of focusing delay about multiple walls with unknown parameters. The measured data are utilized to verify the algorithm.4. Aiming at maneuverability of moving persons which are tracked in the enclosure space, motion model of persons is provided firstly. Then the interacting multiple models Kalman filter is researched to apply for moving persons. And NNCJPDA is utilized to solve the typical problems of track association, such as track furcation, cross and combination. The track management helps eliminate the false track. Finally the simulated results and measured data are utilized to validate the method.This paper studies the persons imaging and tracking about see-through-building radar, according to relative theory and actual engineering application. The main technology includes the pretreatment method of clutter, calculating the focusing delay when multiple walls are passed through, and tracking the moving targets in enclosure space. What this paper researches is very helpful to develop the application about see-through-building radar.
