Cr,Tm,Ho:YAG laser is widely used in medical field due to its output energy can be easily absorbed by water molecules in human tissue thanks to its 2.1μm laser wavelength (which is very close to water molecules absorption peak).The main topic of this paper is about the study of laser design and how to improve the efficiency of the laser output.In order to improve the output efficiency and the overall stability of the laser, this thesis proposes a dual-channel laser design concept (combination of double condenser chamber inside the laser) based on single-channel laser concept. First part is the overview of the operational material and working mechanism of the laser. Second part is about photometric characteristics of different pump source and condenser chamber with the laser material. Third part is about the effect of different types of resonant cavity to the laser output power. And name plano-concave cavity on the basis of theoretical calculations. And select the best optimal transmission output lens via experimental validation. Last part is about the overall structure of Cr,Tm,Ho:YAG laser refer to power system and cooling system.Energy output of the laser through a single lens coupling system rip into the optical fiber, The laser beam waist radius and divergence angle together with the optical fiber core radius has a decisive influence on the coupling efficiency of the system. Experimental design process using asynchronous work output mode, select the focal length of 18mm lenses and soft silicone clad silica fiber core diameter of 550μm.In the debugging process of the Laser machine system, analysis the influence of the temperature of the cooling efficiency to its output efficiency. And list a laser experiments with human calculus to verify the clinical results of 2.1μm laser wavelength of Cr,TmJHo:YAG lasers.
