This table processing system is for a Beijing bureau of the information processing system and technology to provide decision-making. In the unified format and mode, the system delivers reports and data to the IT departments in some Beijing Bureaus on time with high quality. After data processing, sorting, statistics and analysis, through information sharing and joint use of data by each department, the comprehensive reporting forms provide basic data for leaders of departments or some cities to make policies and strategic decisions. To achieve the above targets, we must give priority in dealing with displaying and printing of the complex heading of Chinese-style reports, and then makes sure reports to be configured to the database flexibly in the face of a wide range of reports and data. We also need to ensure accuracy of the data when it was filled into the reporting forms.To solve the complex Chinese report heading, this system adopts Active X controls, which provide a variety of interfaces that can precisely print the reports. It can successfully display the complex reports heading by virtue of functions similar to Excel editing, free from the costs of large sums of time and personnel put on the reports style, which may occur in the process of program development. To address the inconsistency problems arising from large number of reports, this system uses "unified reporting model", which standardizes reports from customization, generation, and display to the individual business expansion, consequently supplying perfect solution to the unlimited increase of reports types in future. As far as a system possessing the function of filling reports is concerned, it should be more stringent to guarantee the accuracy of data. Data auditing plays a good role in assisting with control of data accuracy, and ensures the user-defined integrity through XML and regular expressions. Data errors will be reported in the first time to notify people, in case the reports with several errors will be submitted back.The essay will firstly focus on demand analysis; sum up the functional requirements in the whole system; draw up various technical solution selections at different levels according to demand; and give detailed analysis and explanation on a series of aspects from key technical issues, front display, database design, unified reporting model, XML format transformation, auditing design, and finally to the statistical charts showing, in order to achieve the expected goals in the end.
