Design And Implementation Of A College Admissions Information Management System

In recent years,with the rapid development in China’s higher education, enrollment conditions gradually relaxed, the number of college sdudents has increased, the thinking of university administrators and the method of management may face new challenges. Absorption of new technologies, the use of efficient information management tools become an inevitable choice and trends. Currently, almost all schools have established enrollment management system, and has played an active role in the annual enrollment work. Published enrollment information through the network platform to provide a variety of information queries, so that students and parents understand the calendar year enrollment information, conduct inquiries and admissions inquiries admission to candidates and to provide a convenient and information platform, while also greatly improves college enrollment management efficiency. Therefore, in the context of the rapid development of China’s information technology, for college admissions actual business needs and characteristics of the school enrollment needs analysis, develop a set of applicable to the university’s enrollment management system, is the subject of this goal.This paper combines Southwest Petroleum University Admissions daily work, fully catch the needs of the school, according with the specifications and requirements of the development of software strictly, organization and implementation of the project, from requirements analysis until the final completion of the program installation and commissioning work, where the process including outline design, detailed design and coding tests.The development of this system provides a good platform for Southwest Petroleum University. the system base on B / S Mode, use object-oriented technology for systems analysis and design,combine with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 database platform,base on ASP.NET platform.In this paper, five chapters separately from the system requirements analysis, system test module and then carried out a detailed exposition. The first chapter introduces the major domestic and foreign research status and work of this article, the second chapter of the system related to the technology used to build elaborate, they are three-tier architecture on B / S, ASP.NET technology, C # language and SQL Server2008 database technology; Chapter user demand conducted an investigation and analysis of the physical structure and logical structure of the system introduced; the fourth chapter of the detailed design of the system functional modules are described in detail, chapter completed system use cases test, on the part of elaborate case testing, final testing and operation of the system are summarized and analyzed. The entire system to achieve functional modules include: admissions information dissemination, admission information query, the query admission cases, high-level athletes and outstanding candidates to introduce ourselves registration module.The system has a friendly interface, easy operation, functional characteristics, improve the management level of college enrollment and quality while reducing administrative costs, improve work efficiency, and provide a strong guarantee for college admissions.
