RFID holds an important post at sensing layer of IOT for non-contact automatic identification, multiple tags read simultaneously and strong anti-interference, and has been applied to the areas of commodity logistic management, items information tracing and so on. With the huge amount of items and various item status to be identified, RFID data emerge in large quantity. The management and processing of such huge data becomes a popular research area. According to summarizing and abstract the RFID application scenarios, this paper propose process-based modeling theory, which regards each operation of RFID data as a process and all process are organized as a process graph. Through the process graph, all distributed processing nodes can be integrated to a logic interconnected system, based on which we construct a distributed RFID data processing middleware platform.Firstly, this paper elaborates the definition of our process modeling theory and the process graph, with related data structure. Also, it presents two methods for constructing process graph, the process position based method and the process breakdown based method. Secondly, this paper summarizes the requirements of RFID data processing, including requirements of architecture, representation and query, and designs a distributed RFID middleware platform based on the process modeling theory, by describing its architecture and elaborating each module in detail. In the implementation part, it represents the classes, core algorithm and interaction flow at each procedure according to three core handling flow, the process modeling, data integrity validation and distributed query processing. Finally this paper establishes an experiment environment and test the core functions of the middleware platform.
