Oil field road in the process of management maintenance mainly by artificial patrol, grading, there is a problem such as low efficiency, quality evaluation.The actual combined with Oilfield’s roads, The project of Daqing Oilfield road management information system through the advanced GPS positioning equipment, the complete and standardized basic information. In the system designed, according to the principle of "demand pull, overall planning, unified standards, stages of development, application-oriented principles of sharing ", carried out the research and implementation of basic geographic information subsystem、the research and implementation of traffic information management subsystem and the research and implementation of evaluation of oil filed specific road subsystem. And the research of some functions such as data integration, data security, data update Research interfaces and navigation. To solve the problem of field-specific road’s data is not accurate enough、not unified management, subjective quality assessment, to provide the decision-making basis for the road’s management and conservation, to lay a foundation for the construction and development of oil field.This design the road space data and the attribute data by GIS association together, in order to realize all kinds of attribute data visualization, using the technology of video image shows the road environment and road conditions information more intuitive, image. Considering of the practical need of engineering application, this system for road management department provides more abundant functions, such as: interactive data query, statistical analysis, thematic mapping, pile number positioning, etc. This system has more practical features, such as it can be quick and easy implementation of GIS, such as video, database module of interactive query. The development of this system, information management for road work provides the more advanced and effective.
