LXI makes both the distance between instruments and the number of device nodes not limited in the test system. So with stamped data, it can achieve synchronous distributed measurement, to meet the demand of distributed and remote control well, and provide better choice for the formation of the test system. LXI trigger box make a way to make NO LXI instrument to the LXI instrument.And with the development of embeddable technology,LXI develop to be faster speed, bigger storage,diversified system.a ARMv7-Cortex architecture framework with its excellent cost performance cause our attention.The LXI Trigger box of The paper finished belongs to the LXI A level, It supports a variety of trigger input and output, with LAN interface, and network control, processor module adopts the architecture of Cortex-A8. The paper analyzes the current development of synchronous trigger device at home and abroad.Discussing the design scheme of LXI trigger box, focuses on the realization of the function of LXI trigger.The specific research contents are as follows: 1) The processor module. Base on the structure of Cortex-A8 + Flash + RAM. Analyzing the hardware circuit design, including the storage part circuit, reset and clock circuit, power circuit and external interface circuit,and so on.After that,we complete the corresponding design of bootloader and transplantation of Wince system. 2) LXI trigger box function design.It support the four types of trigger input methods: LAN message triggers, IEEE1588 time trigger, and LXI bus hardware and external trigger, and three trigger output methods: LAN message triggers, LXI trigger bus hardware and external trigger.And three trigger output can configure trigger delay and pulse width of signal, at the same time it will record the trigger event log. After completing the LXI trigger box for debugging to its function, and improve it various aspects performance have done a lot of experiments, satisfactory results have been achieved. This paper finished the hardware design of trigger box, and performs the function,the results of the trigger box meet expectations.
