As we know, the communication is intended to transfer information, and the main quality indicators are communication system effectiveness and reliability. But the channel transmission characteristics also Unsatisfactory, the received signal always errors inevitably occur. Channel coding is a digital processing technique that used in the data transmission / storage system to reduction the error rate, improve the system reliability. FEC(forward error correcting code) is an automatic error correction code of the channel coding, this error-correcting code information does not require storage, no feedback, real time, so, and many of modern digital communications transmission systems have adopted this kind of channel coding. We describes the channel coding and decoding principle detailed in this thesis, simulation and performance analysis the RS code,convolution code and interleaving technique in the communication system based Matlab.Permutation entropy is a measure of the complexity of the signal, which reflects the complexity of the one-dimensional aspect of time series, with a simple calculation, real-time high noise immunity and strong features. We also do permutation entropy for a more in-depth study in this thesis, suitable parameter selected by experiment, and put it to use error correction coding, achieved using permutation entropy to study the channel coding random capabilities – The unpredictable degree. Ultimately we use the unpredictable degree in channel coding identification with a preliminary exploration.As the existing channel coding on the evaluation is limited to its error rate and coding efficiency. The work in this thesis is the introduction the permutation entropy to evaluation the channel coding unpredictable degree, and through unpredictable degree consider channel coding identification technology issues.
