As an important part of security system, Video surveillance can transmit image contented of monitored places to the monitoring center, and cause the monitoring site condition be clear at a glance. It can also record images and sound in whole or in part, to provide convenient conditions and important basis for the handling of certain events in the future. Wireless monitoring system, has made up for the shortcomings of video cable deployment. It is a combination of monitoring technology and wireless network transmission technology, supports cross-platform and cross-regional video communication, and becomes a main developing trend of the video monitoring system.Wireless video monitoring system mainly consists of power supply, video camera and wireless bridge. The power supply plays a vital role to ensure the normal operation of the whole monitoring system. Wireless monitoring site is generally located in wild areas, away from the power supply.Point to point wiring power engineering costs too high. Therefore, using of photovoltaic power is the best choice, which can greatly reduce the project cost.In this paper Ⅰ will solve the technical problem that provides a pv power control unit for the wireless video monitoring equipment, in order to provide a long-term stable photovoltaic power for it in the field. As the energy storage device, battery provides power supply cooperating with photovoltaic cells for monitoring equipmentAt the same time, photovoltaic battery charges for battery. I choose Buck circuit as the main circuit of control unit; and use polysilicon solar panels and lithium iron phosphate batteries as power supply equipment. Technology of the most power point tracing is particularly important in photovoltaic systems. It is the key technology for photovoltaic energy conversion efficiency. Through analysis and comparison of several kinds of commonly used MPPT algorithm, I put forward the algorithm used in this paper. The using performance and life of battery is an important factor for whether the whole monitoring system can work long-term and stable. Therefore, charging and discharging technology of storage battery is the key content of this study. I designed a new three-stage charging method for photovoltaic power. This paper has completed the design of hardware circuit and software program and given out the experimental platform and results.
