Wind power system need stable operating state. Its transformer should work at a suitable temperature and its distribution cabinet humidity should be within the appropriate range.However, wind power equipment are commonly installed in areas with harsh environment,where people cannot easily go. This design provides an effective solution to monitor the external environment of the wind power system. It can detect and control the temperature of the transformer and the humidity in distribution cabinet at long distance without people attending.Three sets of solution are considered to be used to detect the temperature of transformer.The plan using PT100 as the sensor is chosen. Two sets of solution are considered to be used to detect the humidity of the distribution cabinet. The DHT90 Temperature and humidity sensor is chosen. ATmega16 is used as core processor. Peripheral circuits of the MCU include signal amplifying circuit of PT100, digital tube display circuit, electromagnetic relay control circuit, RS- 485 remote communication circuit and DC regulated power supply circuit. C language is used to write MCU program. The program will compare the measured value and the set value. If the measured value is higher than the set value, electromagnetic relay will be joint to control the temperature or the humidity. Visual Basic 6.0 is used to write the upper machine program. MCU communicate with PC and transmit the measured temperature and humidity values.Finally, an intelligent system with the function of detecting and controlling the temperature and the humidity is designed. It enables to detect real-time temperature, humidity and system status. Some set value can be changed by 4 keys on it. In order to reduce costs,simple hardware circuit and complex microcontroller program are used. And after modifying the program, this design can be used in many other conditions. This indicates that this design has great practical significance.
