As a new mode of commercial applications, cloud computing served as a commodit y will greatly change the way of people’s life. Cloud computing can be understood as a computational process, namely the user delegated computing tasks to the cloud server,which returned the operation results to the user after over computing. Obviously, in th is process, people will inevitably worry about privacy issues. The problem of privacy pr otection as one of the security problems faced by cloud computing also limits the popul arization and development of cloud computing.Homomorphic encryption is different from the traditional encryption system, it can make the computed results performance on the plaintext equal to the result of the calculation on the corresponding cipher text after decryption. This new feature enables user turn the cipher to a third party to carry out the relevant treatment to get correct results and do not want to worry about the problem of leakage of privacy. Therefore, the homomorphic encryption scheme in cloud computing, electronic commerce, the Internet and other third-party data processing field has important practical significance. Since the concept of homomorphic encryption was proposed in 70’s,it has been one of the hot spots of theoretical research and practical research in the cryptography. This paper studies on homomorphic encryption mainly includes the following several aspects:Firstly, according to the structure of fully homomorphic encryption scheme, this paper mainly studies the constructed method and the process of fully homomorphic encryption schemes, and gives the application model of homomorphic encryption in a cloud environment to protect the privacy. Dijk et al in 2010 put forward fully homomorphic encryption scheme based on integer. Through the analysis of the scheme, this paper presents the detailed construction of the fully homomorphic encryption, and gives the application model of homomorphic encryption.Secondly, propose integrity verification scheme over the cloud storage environment data. This scheme can in privacy preserving data also support public verification on the integrity of the data in the cloud storage.Thirdly, put forward the smart grid privacy protection scheme based on homomorphic encryption, the scheme can not only protect the privacy of users in the data transmission process, and support for user data transmission correctness is verified.
