The stability analysis and control synthesis problems of switched systems with additive time-varying delay components have gained great signi?cance in the theoretical research and practical applications. This dissertation studies the weighted H_∞?ltering, the tracking control and the output regulation problem for a class of switched systems with additive time-varying delays. The basic theoretical framework of analysis and synthesis for this kind of switched system is established. The main contributions of this dissertation are as follows:Firstly, the weighted H_∞?ltering of a class of switched systems with additive timevarying delays is discussed. Based on average dwell time(ADT) approach, su?cient conditions are established to guarantee the exponential stability and weighted H_∞performance for the ?ltering error systems. The parameters of the designed switched ?lters are obtained by solving linear matrix inequalities(LMIs). A modi?cation of Jensen integral inequality, rather than the free-weighted matrix method, is exploited to derive results with less theoretically conservatism and computational complexity.Secondly, the weighted H_∞output tracking control for a class of switched systems with additive time-varying delays is considered. The network induced delays and packed dropouts of networked control systems are taken as two additive continuous-time delays.A new type of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is constructed. Combining with the Jensen integral inequality, less conservative su?cient conditions guaranteed the exponential stabilization and the weighted H_∞output tracking control performance of the closed-loop systems are developed with the design of the ADT switching rules and the proportionalintegral controllers via LMIs.At last, the output regulation problem for a class of switched systems with two additive time-varying delay components is addressed by using the ADT approach. By designing the state-feedback controllers and error-feedback controllers respectively, the output regulation problems are feasible if and only if the output regulation equations are solvable under the satisfying ADT conditions and some corresponding standard assumptions.
