TV shopping, especially "retail in no physical store," is more and more popular globally. With the advantage of video and voice, the guiding shopping model of TV convey the information of merchants to customers, which has already occupied a large part of the market because of the impressive effect of the communication. However, after 2000, online shopping becomes more popular than TV shopping, due to the rapid growth of the Internet and people’s growing interests in online shopping. To some extent, the fast development of the online shopping undermines the TV shopping industry.The department of media entertainment in Alibaba Ltd started up on September 2013. It aims at occupying dining room in modern families with a content ally of "movies/TV series+ music+games+education+e-commerce," which is based on the amazing entertainment experience of Tianmao Magic Box in the family. The group TV shopping team is a subsidiary of entertainment department. It starts to design the shopping while watching model with the idea of users shopping when they are watching movies. It tries to integrate the advantage of TV shopping, the convenience of online payment and the method of big data, to let users experience the fun of shopping at home while enjoying TV entertainment.In the beginning, the most important thing is to choose proper contents for watching and shopping channel, and start the channel’s routine work.To create especial contents for this channel is the key point of this plan.
