User Privacy Protection Of The Public Cloud Service Providers

Cloud computing is a very popular new technology in recent years, however, protection of user privacy has always been important issue affecting cloud computing promotion. Currently, in the study of cloud computing, some scholars have proposed different user privacy protection schemes, but research on user privacy protection for cloud service providers is still confined to a few specific areas, no relatively general scheme. This seriously hampers users’ trust on the cloud service provider and cloud computing services model. To solve this problem, we have done the following research on user privacy protection of the public cloud service provider in this paper.Firstly, this paper analyzes the features of information leakage in cloud environment, and get three essential factors of information leakage according to analysis of these characteristics; based on the features of cloud computing services and model, this paper raises user privacy protection ideas that each lawyer and module is mutually separated and restricted, and puts forward the relevant theories and hypotheses; then following this idea, we designed a user privacy protection scheme based on the separation of PaaS lawyer and SaaS lawyer— PS separation privacy protection scheme, this is made according to the behavior way of these three anticipants in cloud computing service: PaaS service providers, Saa S software provider and user.In the PS separation privacy protection scheme, we describe its design principle and design purpose, analyze its data processing form, and abstract out its data flow and conversion process. The user privacy protection scheme enables Paa S and SaaS services to be provided by different cloud service providers respectively, and let cloud service providers restrict other providers to leak user privacy according to corresponding specifications proposed in this paper while providing service.Finally, this paper analyzed the security of this scheme from three aspects: data model, experiment and example: we have done theoretical analysis and demonstration for the data flow model of user privacy protection scheme; made detailed security analysis and demonstration for this scheme by simulated cloud platform experiments; and illustrated the functions of the scheme in protecting user privacy by using a practical example.The complete user privacy protection scheme based on separation of PaaS lawyer and SaaS layer can be implemented in common cloud computing architecture, and commonly used in all kinds of SaaS services, with strong theoretical and practical value.
