In recent years, with the rise of the Internet, the channels that everyone collectsinformation and sellers providing information have changed, the traditional circulation modehas been used in the Internet. Along with the growth of the Internet, e-commerce becomespopular, more and more businesses begin to invest and set up shops on the Internet, providereal-time services online and show customers a new shopping concept which is green,environmental, indoor and fast.The online shopping system, as the front-end business platform of B2B(business toconsumer) e-commerce, plays an important role in the whole course of business activity.Online shopping system itself is a kind of business information system with interactivefeatures. It provides users with two kinds of resources: static and dynamic information. Theso-called static information refers to these resources which change or update frequently, suchas company profiles, management instrumentation and company policies, etc. while theso-called dynamic information refers to the resources which may change at any time, such ascommodity quotations, notices of meetings and training information, etc. The online shoppingsystem has very powerful interactive features, making the delivery between businesses andusers very convenient and quick, thus completing the e-commerce or EDI, etc. transactions.This new transaction mode makes the exchange of documents and funds paperless possible.The online shopping system is an Internet-based network, using the B2C mode andmakes reference to the existing online shopping system, we design and develop it as ane-commerce platform. Online shopping system can not only expand the size of business andinfluence to the market, but also reduce the operating costs of enterprises, staff costs andimprove work efficiency.The system is mainly to provide users with membership registration, shopping cartmanagement, product search, user data modification and some other features, and to provideadministrators with commodity management, user information management, newsmanagement, advertisements linking management and so on. In terms of designation, thesystem uses B/S three layers structure, and uses JSP to design dynamic pages, considering thesystem security and code reusability, the system uses JavaBean to package the key code of theprogram. Back-end database selected Mysql database. The first chapter introduces the background and practical significance of the onlineshopping system, and through the analysis and research of the status of the related areas,formulates the development objectives and functional requirement of the system.The second chapter introduces the main developing technologies and related technologiesof the online shopping system. First, to the overall mode, we use the operation mode of MVC:model-view-controller mode. We also use B/S structure, JSP development language, andMysql database for back-end database. Then we focus on these main technical introductions.The third chapter analyzes the functional requirements of online shopping system indetails and design the system overall according to the functional requirements. A detailedunderstanding of the needs of the system and analysis of functional modules we need is amust before development. The main functional modules of the system can be divided into sixmodules: user management, membership management, commodity management, newsmanagement, advertisements and links, product search. We descript the specific functions ofeach functional module in detail, and give a flowchart of these main functional modules inthis chapter.The forth chapter carried out a detailed description of the implementation of the onlineshopping system. First, we introduce the design and implementation of the database of onlineshopping system, and introduce every table of the database and the logical relationships ofthese tables. Then, we introduce the implementation of the functional modules of front-endand display these functions, and show the key code of main functions, the names of methodsthat we use. Last, we introduce the functional modules of back-end whose main function ismanaging and maintaining the front-end functional modules, we also show the relatedfunction display and key code.The fifth chapter makes a summary and outlook for the whole text, and concludes theexperience we learned when developing the online shopping system, from unfamiliar tofamiliar, from no ideas to grasp. At the same time, we give the next step we prepare to learnand the security of the system we need to consider in the future.The designation and implementation of online shopping system take the advantages ofJSP and the free Mysql database, making the system a high degree of flexibility andadaptability.
