Design And Implementation Of Integrated Reporting Platform Of Commercial Banks

Along with commercial banks expanding the scope of application of data mart, it has become an important task in the current to realize a suitable business system that could fast and accurately develop reports at all levels of departments using advanced computer technology to realize the automation of data extraction.Banks have several set of their own reporting system, but beshort of a complete systematize structure and unified management, therefore it could not effectively support the formation of Enterprise deeision making. There are some ploblems in these systems:Too much data colleeted from various departments make the management complicated. Reporting and submitting data repeatedly bring about a lot of workloads to staff. Reporting system are developed by a number of various departments or companies, it results in inconsistent user interfaes, wasting training cost. These problems have affected the development of banks seriously, so it is extremely urgent to call for a centralized reporting platform to realize the unified management of all reports.The development of the integrated report platform is a foundation of common report for commercial banks, and is also an automatically information foundation of comprehensive statistics for commercial banks’decision-makers and leaders, especially used in intellective management and decision support. The purpose of this report platform is automatically collect business data of every system for the commercial banks, then create a foundation to cover all the business data (including collect, storage and processing), to carry on statistics collecting in order to achieve automatically statistical all business data, generate the report, and sharing data resources for’T+l’days in the commercial banks.Follow the above background, this paper is to research, design the integrated report platform and to emphasize the system’s technology stage, structure and achievement plan. Start from the system structure, data plan, and internal data process, design program for database, operation management working station, reporting inquiry, system management and data input. Then, achieve the research result of the integrated report pltaform and its implement. This system is based on the joint mode of core banking system FLEXCUBE by Oracle, using PL/SQL to develop storage of database, Qt to develop operation management mode, achieving a unified system gathering in developing, batching, inquiring and reporting.The integrated report platform overcome the problem that the high leaders of the commercial bank cannot gain the data promptly. The system overcome the difficulty of huge organization when the leader is analyzing business and making decision, they can expediently gain management information whatever they want. The system also resolve the problem that dispersive information and hard inquiry. The problem of dispersive user and rights limits management are overcome as well. Through uniform user system and rights system, and share this information, users can start working conveniently when they check one kind of business report.For the future development condition, it is the key to turn to the data warehouse for scale enlargement.
