The Internet of things(IOT) technology is currently the most popular a kind of new technology, and has been focus on academia, government departments and industry both at home and abroad. IOT has been a wide application on agriculture, military, industrial, medical and environmental. However, due to lack of scientific evaluation standard and effective evaluation method to the overall performance of IOT system, it results the IOT industry and the market being in a mess and all kinds of product quality being uneven. It made the user is difficult to choose more suitable application of IOT system, and severely restricted the development of the IOT technology industrialization process. Therefore, it is very necessary for us to make a research about the performance evaluation methods of IOT system. This paper selects IOT robustness as the performance evaluation index to build the evaluation system, and puts forward the evaluation method of IOT robustness based on cloud model. At last this paper realizes the purpose of performance evaluation of IOT system, through the data processing and experiment simulation.Firstly from the perspective of the performance of IOT system, this paper introduces the concept of robustness to the IOT system, and gives the concept of IOT robustness. It is an important index for the performance evaluation of IOT system to analysis.Secondly, on the basis of the concept of IOT robustness and the structure of IOT system, this paper constructed performance evaluation index system of IOT system. After comparing various weights of religion, the final this paper selected entropy method to deal with the performance indicators weight of IOT system, and avoided the impact of subjective factors.Then, this paper put forward evaluation methods of IOT robustness based on cloud model. Considering the commonly IOT system is a large, complex application system, if we directly to evaluate, it lead to the assessment results are too one-sided. Based on the concept of IOT robustness and the evaluation system based on cloud model, respectively, we made perception layer, transport layer, application layer of IOT system to evaluate robustness; at the same time we use the definition of IOT robustness respectively to calculate the perception layer, transport layer, application layer, robustness and comparing the simulation results. Then we will from the Angle of the Internet of things system as a whole on the IOT system robustness.Finally, by comparison, analysis of different number of the IOT robustness under the influence of the performance index of a large number of simulation results, finally it is concluded that the Internet of things the pros and cons of robustness level, so as to realize the IOT system performance evaluation, and concluded that the most effective IOT system robustness evaluation of the performance index number.In a word, the research of this paper is aimed at the performance evaluation of IOT system. Through the introduction of the concept of robustness, with the aid of IOT robustness evaluation methods on cloud model, finally realized the performance evaluation of the overall IOT system.For the Internet of things system performance evaluation research is an active exploration, provides an effective and feasible scientific solution.
