Frequency hopping-OFDM (Frequency Division Multiplexing Orthogonal) is a new high-speed communication system which combines the frequency hopping technology with the OFDM technology,not only has the advantages of anti-interference ability of the frequency hopping technology,but also has the advantages of high frequency spectrum utilization of OFDM technology, anti multipath interference and so on.The frequency hopping OFDM system supports the high-speed data transmission and is one of the directions of the development of mobile communication in the future.The thesis starts with the basic principle of frequency hopping system and OFDM system,in a detailed study of the key technology of frequency hopping system and the performance index that the OFDM system based on, given the frequency hopping OFDM communication system design.Using 64QAM map to complete data mapping; using the fast fourier transform to complete OFDM modulation and demodulation;using DDS technology to design the frequency hopping device;using low-pass filter and code judgment to decode source data.The design is in the environment of ISE 10.1 Xilinx company,using Verilog hardware description language programming,using Synplify Pro tool to synthesises,and get the design circuit diagram of RTL(Register transfer Layer),function simulation of the modelsim 6.5a simulation tool.At last,the FH-OFDM system is downloaded to the Spartan-3E hardware platform of the Xilinx company,the results of test are observed and analyzed by Chipscope.Simulation and test results show that the design of frequency hopping OFDM system can correctly implement 64QAM mapping and demapping, OFDM modulation and demodulation, frequency hopping and solution jump, low-pass filter and code judgment and function of each module. The FH-OFDM signal can be transmitted correctly, the reception of FH-OFDM signal is realized, and the design requirement of the frequency hopping OFDM system is basically met.
