Research Of Digital Museum Architecture Based On Hadoop

Digital museum is to use the technology of virtual reality,3d scanning, computer network and other rendering technology, presenting the museum in the real world through the network application. In detail, the museum which achieves the real museum’s function is consist of the network and the network structure of internal information and the work of the traditional museum. It transforms the sterile data into vivid mode through the computer’s network and the exchange of information based on the real museum likes a bridge. The main function of the museum is facing to public and achieving the interactive participation for public, which can appeal to the interest of the audience and achieve the goal of popularization of scientific knowledge.The challenge for the construction of digital museum is mainly from two aspects, the one is technical, the other one is management. In technology, the digital museum can be regarded as a sharing and service platform about natural cultural heritage resources which is based on combination of the large-scale distributed information resource database and multimedia broadband network. The technical field of the digital museum is very wide, it needs the big data storage and network technology, virtual reality, image retrieval processing technical breakthrough as a support. On management, the management of digital museum in data acquisition, storage, transmission, display stages has many problems, such as organization management, intellectual property, large security management issues need to be settled.Hadoop is created by Apache Lucene founder Doug Cutting. In April 2008, Hadoop broke the world record and became the fastest terabytes of data sorting system. From then on, Hadoop has been the mainstream deployment system used by company. In industry, Hadoop has been recognized as a stable and safe platform for big data storage and analysis.This paper analyzes a series of technical problems the digital museum facing on. We put forward a project for building the digital museum based on Hadoop through studying about cloud computing deeply. Firstly, we expounds the present research situation and the background of digital museum, and then analyzes the theoretical basis of Hadoop and the feasibility of building the digital museum, makes the module of digital museum to be true. Finally this paper introduces how to build the experiment environment of the Hadoop.
