With the continuous development of information technology, it makes the data is a key element in a system. The equipments in Internet of Things get data from the real world; the data is heterogeneity from multi-source, huge amounts, and time-space correlation. In the area of IOT data processing, the current studies have many limitations. Provide a generic data management platform; manage data to support rapid query and management of the internal data access security are the important issues in data management of IOT.In this paper, the main work is the IoT data management. We analyzed the related works in IoT mass data management at home and abroad. Based on the analysis of the IoT data life cycle, we present a data management framework to adapt the different Internet application. And then the function of each module in the storage framework is inllustrated. Then, considering the IoT data resources not only concern the spatial and temporal correlation and also concern the semantic relevance, a semantic IR tree index structure is introduced, which combine the spacial index and the inverted index structure. In the process of the construction of the index, it adds the semantic features to adapt the semantic relevant queries; then in the experiment, compare the performance with IR-tree and R-tree, we verify it can improve the accuracy of resource searching. Finally, we proposes a simple session scheme based on the enhanced version of the two-factor user authentication scheme to solve the security threat when external users direct access to the internal nodes in IoT subnet, the improvement of the efficiency is be verified. The main studies in this paper are the data management for IoT. Base on the analysis of the life cycle of IoT data, a data management framework is presented to support different levels of Internet of things applications. Then we propose a semantic IR-tree which can be applied to the resource query that has both spatial and temporal correlation and semantic correlation, it can improve the accuracy of search. Finally, a two factor authentication session mechanism is proposed to access the data from the subnet of IoT.
