At present, Paperless office has become mainstream with computer network technology processing in a rapid development. Many large companies are speeding up the process of information construction to enhance business efficiency. With the reform of the power gird, as the support system of power company, electric power information communication is the foundation of construction, production, marketing and other business. In order to further enhance the company’s efficiency and effectiveness, accelerate the company’s information technology, a data communication network aiming at the current company network has been launched by Turpan power company. The thesis completes the company’s data communication network construction with IRF2 technology. Considering design methodology and device configuration, with a thorough analysis of network status, this thesis has optimized the company’s existing communication network, and enhanced the reliability of company’s business systems and network transmission.This thesis aims at improving office efficiency to realize the enterprise information. From the current advanced thought of IRF2 virtual network and Turpan power company network application, network design, this thesis analyzes the requirements of the company modification, summarizes the network status and problems. Using the latest developments of the current network design model, this thesis first determines the network design principle, completes the whole project retrofit scheme with a certain model such as the hierarchical model, then tests the stability, safety of the network structure in the scheme, finally completes the company’s communication network reconstruction project through the project implementation. This project includes network structure adjustment, equipment redeployment, link building, security and bandwidth upgrade work. The project has improves the network reliability, laid a solid foundation of information system stable operation and smart grid construction.
