The Principle And Application Of Image Information Search Based On Image Features

In initial phase of the Internet development, resources on the Internet are relativelylacking, information being centralized and the retrieval being also relatively easy.However, with the exponential development of the Internet, more and more net citizens tend to share the information on the Internet. Besides, they are accustomed to obtaining knowledge from the Internet. Consequently, The information retrieval technology emerged as the time required so as to acquire the proper information swiftly and accurately. Image,one of the most basic and important multimedia information, are developed with various retrieval technologies, among of which the image retrieval technology based on the content create the new field of image retrieval research. Our team are devoted to the research of image retrieval technology and meet the masses’ s need of information retrieval. Later, we builded our image-searching website.As the diversification of information, the concept of information not just covers text,but also other abundant information, including image, audio, video and so on. Image search will become a more convenient way of attaining information and even be a tendency in the near future.That of our website is to find the information we need in a large amount of images using the feature values of image. Meanwhile in order to help users find the collect information more quickly and conveniently, it also supports the traditional way-searching by words. This paper was stretched mainly in terms of image processing technology and search algorithm, which explains many aspects of image knowledge, including theoretical basis of digital image, the file format of image, the sampling and quantification of image,gray histogram and the binarization, zooming in and out of the image, shapening and time-frequency transforming of the image, and the image searching technique which based on perceptual hash and the feature of mage histogram.On the basis of above theoretical research, To verify the accuracy and pragmatism of Image search algorithm, We designd and developed the image search website that combines image content search with traditional text search. The website was developed under MyEclipse and used Java Web, JQuery, AJAX and MySQL database. With the effort of every member in our team, the whole website was completed.I was mainly responsible for study of image search algorithm. Thus this paper mainly introduces image search algorithm.
