In the rapid development of Internet and appointment registration system, the new generation of internet-based unified appointment registration system evolved out of their fusion with the purpose to relieve the difficulties of patients’ registration and getting medical services. Meanwhile, through the integration of public and private hospitals, the medical resources allocation will be more reasonable, and patients’ registration will be more conveniently and fairly.This new system based on the J2EE platform system architecture, uses the hierarchical and modular design concept which improves system flexibility and scalability. It can be accessed to make an appointment through Website, mobile phone, Wechat and telephone. By analyzing system and user characteristics, the author divided the system to five modules and implemented each of them.Business interface module, including access to hospitals and obtain departments and access to the number source and make an appointment, as well as the interfaces authorization and access control.Number source allocation function module generates number source according to the rules of hospital, supporting disposable number allocation, time-division number allocation, cycle number allocation, random number allocation and distribution number source, and the function of fixing the number source regularly.Appointment registration module provides appointment and registration processing function, realizes the private and public hospitals’appointment registration, including appointment limit, appointment in line and appointment transaction control, etc.Hospital resource management module implements the function of management of public hospital information resources, including synchronize public hospital information such as departments, doctors and number source, adapt and coordinate the interoperation between the platform system and hospital information system.Business log module includes record all the system operation log in the course of appointment, record the name of the called method, record the names of input and output parameters and their values, record the beginning and end time of invoking program method, and supply the trace function of system running monitoring and abnormal operation tracking function according to those logs.At present, Wechat and telephone appointment system run normally. The mobile client application is under internal test, and will be promoted in next stage. The planning of Website system has started. Those running systems show that the new generation of unified appointment registration system could meet the needs of users. Subsequently, the platform system will be officially launched.
