In recent years, with the development of people’s material life and raisingthe level of science and technology, there is a rapid growth ofpopulation and motor vehicles. It’s urgent to relieve the increasing trafficpressure according to the science method. Intelligent vehicle tracking anddetection technology is the track detection, statistics and analysis techniqueof vehicle motion in video surveillance status. In the intelligent transportationfield, the intelligent monitoring technology can realize the real-time vehicletraffic management departments, and effectively obtain record operation of roadtraffic, is convenient for traffic management department for induction controlof road vehicle flow according to the actual situation on site, reduce traffic roadcongestion, reducing the traffic accidents probability, thus the traffic facilitieshave been fully utilized.This paper presents an optical flow detection method for recognition ofmoving vehicle with a prior information, the approximate range method of pathtracking prior information during the application process of region, growingmethod to obtain in intelligent vehicle preliminary determination of the moving target, and the recognition processing measure again through the optical flow ofmoving vehicle detection. Through the analysis of vehicle detectionenvironment, road structure and lane information has a guiding role for vehicledetection. Detection of the vehicle with road structure and lane prior information,effectively remove interference information, reduces the actual intelligent roadtraffic detection system in optical flow computation requirement, reduces thecomputational overhead when using the optical flow method to monitoringthe motion of the vehicle. Then, on the basis of a prior information on the road,using a three-frame difference method to further define the scope of the target,detect and identify the movement of vehicles through the optical flow, and builda complete experimental system, realized traffic information real-timemonitoring. Through the analysis and discuss the experimental results show thatthe combination optical flow detection methods of three frames differential andprior information further reduce the computation of optical flow field andeffectively solve the optical flow method own some problem which aresusceptible to environmental disturbances in applications and real-time poor andpromote the movement of the vehicle identification used in intelligenttransportation system.
