The Analysis And Design Of Scientific Research Management System In Independent College

Doing scientific research is a task that teachers in universities and colleges have to undertake. Currently there are more and more scientific research projects while the period of time they take and their expenditure varies. Also there exist many problems in traditional management system. For instance, there are so many projects that it is easy to forget some of them; it is difficult to catch up with the schedule and check expenditure; its evaluation procedure is tedious and the statistic data size is huge, etc. Yet, scientific research is vital for each and every teacher. Thus, universities and colleges try to explore and develop scientific research management system to solve various problems in traditional manual management. And scientific research management system can effectively cope with problems listed above, and improve work efficiency, reduce workload and the number of employees so as to keep management in organization.However, in the long period of development, ordinary colleges and universities have accumulated much experience, relevant institution and comparatively perfect means of scientific research management and analysis in scientific research. Hence, the scientific research management system is comparatively mature in ordinary colleges and universities, with few breakthrough points for study. In contrast, as special undergraduate colleges, independent colleges are newly founded with a history of ten years or so, which have many shortcomings in scientific research and in their establishment of research system. Besides, given the features of independent colleges, In this study not only has theoretical meaning but also has realistic significance.In this paper to review and analysis of the domestic and foreign literature at home and abroad, the thesis determines the research direction and innovative point. It testifies the functions of this system by means of case study and analyzes actual situation of X college. Also from the perspective of improving work efficiency and satisfying clients, it does the outline design of the whole system and analyzes relevant materials to design the system in detail. The system includes management of projects, works and thesis, the awards of scientific research and teaching achievement, scientific research contracts, obtaining projects and evaluation and expenditure management, etc. These modules can be divided into many small modules according to their different tasks, so as to build up a framework of the whole system.In the development, this system adopts the.net development platform and CS/BS mixed model, and explores it in terms of software life cycle. The object-oriented development method is frequently employed in software development. The modularization can keep the system in organization and each module in independence. By connecting interface with modules, the operation of system is bound to be more user-friendly.The system described in the thesis suits the standardized process of software development perfectly and its design is in strict accordance with software design chart, which can solve relevant problems in scientific research management of independent colleges.
