With the rapid development of remote sensing technology and the continuous improvement of spatial resolution commercial satellite, the applications of high resolution remote sensing image are becoming more and more widely in the national economy in various fields, the traffic flow parameters extraction based on satellite images has presented great application prospect, the applications of remote sensing technology to traffic information detection and services has become a new frontier in the world. This paper focused on the traffic information detection based on remote sensing image, aims to study the method of vehicle detecting and speed extracting from high-resolution satellite remote sensing image for Worldview-2. The main research contents are as follow(1) Object-oriented remote sensing image moving vehicle detection technologies. Based on the characteristics of high resolution satellite imagery, this paper summarizes the moving vehicle detection process for object-oriented moving, build four key technologies for the moving vehicle detection, namely, multi-scale segmentation technology, object hierarchies building technology, characteristic analysis and fuzzy classification technology, based on the object-oriented image analysis method, this paper achieved moving vehicles detecting result.(2) The principle and method for motion vehicle speed extraction based on High resolution remote sensing image. Based on the principle of scanning imaging satellite sensors, the speed extraction research is divided into vehicle movement time analysis and vehicle change location, through the Worldview-2multispectral scanning time to determine the vehicle movement time, through the principal component analysis (PCA), combined with object oriented processing procedure, the vehicle moving distance is calculated, when building the speed extraction process, the speed extraction is realized.(3) Two groups of experimental data of Worldview-2satellite images in zhengzhou CBD core area are selected for moving vehicle detection and vehicle speed extraction, combining with the image preprocessing technique, and the test results are analyzed, then two experimental area of field investigation are obtained, the experimental results proved that the method has certain reliability.This study has an important reference meaning to improve the method of vehicle target recognition and speed extraction method based on high resolution satellite imagery, is beneficial exploration for enriching the traffic information collection method and achieving widespread and efficient traffic parameters extraction method.
