With the rapid development of space technology, satellite communications have become an important part of the world’s communications. Due to the limitation of ter-restrial networks and traditional networks which cannot achieve a real sense of global coverage, combing the small delay of satellite networks and a wide coverage of terres-trial networks forms a satellite/terrestrial integrated network. Having a stable network structure and efficient routing algorithm is a necessary prerequisite to achieve effective communication.Based on this issue, this research analyzes the design development of current do-mestic and foreign on satellite/terrestrial integrated networks and proposes an integrat-ed network hierarchical routing protocol model. Unified addressing is implemented to each node in the satellite/terrestrial integrated network to reduce storage overhead. In order to improve the reliability and robustness of the greedy-comlex quadtree routing, a detailed analysis is carried out to the comlex quadtree. On the other hand, due to the mobility of nodes, the network will have a lot of extra communication overhead. Therefore, the location service is designed according to the characteristics of complex quadtree. Finally, this paper makes a model and simulation for the satellite/terrestrial inte-grated network architecture with the OPNET network simulation tool. The simulation analyzes the performance of the greedy-complex quadtree routing which is compared with the general routing based on the shortest path tree. The feasibility of the greedy-complex quadtree routing protocol in the satellite/terrestrial integrated network is veri-...
