The Optimization Designation And Implementation Of Police Information System

With the development of the national economy, the social mobility has becomehigher and higher. Consequently, police working has also been getting harder andharder. So information system is necessary for the police jobs. Moreover, with thedevelopment of surveillance technology and network technology, and with theincreasing of the investment for the hardware infrastructure from the governments,police information data has increased rapidly. Thus, this paper is proposed anoptimization designation for the implementation project of police information system.Firstly, the requirement of police information system is discussed in detail. Thefeature requirement analysis comes first. Police information system is supposed to bein charge of the certain sorts of information, such as populations and buildings.Moreover, the system needs to manage the data of users in order to maintain theoperation of itself. Then, it comes performance requirement analysis. The systemshould be of operability, security, extendibility and scalability. Then, data processanalysis is given including top level data analysis and hierarchy data analysis. Datadictionary is analyzed at the last of this section which includes data item, datastructure and data flow.Secondly, the designation of the system is described as the structure designation,module designation and database designation. The structure designation is performedwith the application of software tools and the analysis of the work flow. The moduledesignation is performed with the classification of the whole system into three models.The database designation is performed as the database conception designation and thedatabase physical design.Thirdly, the implementation of the system is described in detail as the flowingthree: the system management model, the management model of the business datawhich contains the population data and the building data, the data interface used in thetransmission through the internet.Finally, it is described in detailed of the system testing in which each of themodel of the system is tested with the special testing information data and operations.The results has shown that the system works well.
