Streaming media business will become the mainstream Internet business in the future. In a traditional client-server streaming system, the server often becomes the bottleneck due to the high bandwidth and long duration of multimedia stream. Domestic and international scholars have conducted in-depth studies for P2P streaming protocol and developed a variety of P2P applications. However, there are still many problems, such as the effect of quality of service(QoS) caused by internet services business volume volatility, the network topology mismatch, user node performance differences, user node behavior randomness and the P2P network node load imbalance. Aiming at such problems, we studied the small world clustering of P2P streaming media transport mechanism, and put forward the optimization method based on small world network. The method includes the following three parts.First, based on an in-depth research on the basis of the current P2P technology, and an analyst of the advantages and disadvantages, this paper proposes an algorithm based on distance and interest alliance. With the support of distance and interest alignment algorithm, the small world network is constituted by clustering between nodes in a dynamic business environment, effectively eliminate the topology mismatch phenomenon exist in other mechanism, such as turn-back flow and repeat flow, and shorten the delay of network transmission. The network transmission performance is improved.Second, due to the small world network model has a shorter average path and a higher clustering coefficient, combining the small world theory, this paper designs a new P2P streaming media network architecture based on small world, introduces the concept of super node, and combines distance algorithm with interest alignment algorithm. Thus, the system transmission speed will be improved, the system delay will be shortened and service quality of streaming media will be ensured.Third, to optimize the cache model, we design a new circular buffer model. This model sets up some monitoring points to real-time monitor data stored in the cache. And we present four algorithms of transmission regulation mechanism:accelerating algorithm, Decelerate Algorithm, eliminating algorithm and updating algorithm to ensure the smoothness and continuity of streaming media and optimize the P2P streaming media transmission mechanism.In addition, we conducted a simulation experiment for the P2P streaming media system through PeerSim simulation platform, and analyzed the experimental results from the aspects of system time delay, packet loss and the arrival rate, and packet transmission, fully demonstrated its rationality and validity.
