With the development of low observable target and low altitude penetrationtechnology in recent years, making the application of military stealth aircraft andcruise missiles flying at high speed which increasing the challenge on Radar detectionand tracking performance. The technology of track before detect(TBD) does not needa threshold processing for sensor data which maximized retains the target information,can also improve the detection probability and decrease the false trajectory, so it hasbeen widely used in Radar detection and tracking for weak target.The algorithm of Hough transform based on track before detection has beenwidely attracted and research by many scholars because of its not need a prioriinformation suitable for multi-target detection tracking problem. In this paper theHough transform algorithm base on track before detect for weak target detection andtracking are studied under the pre-research project support. The main researchcontents are as follows:1. In view of the radial flying target detection and tracking problems, a Houghtransform algorithm based on Track Before detect (TBD) is introduced in thispaper. the Hough transform model based on TBD is introduced and the detailsteps is given. The performance of Hough transform based on TBD is comparedwith the traditional algorithm of DBT through simulation.2. In view of the problems existing in the standard Hough transform, a randomizedHough transform algorithm was studied. Points out the problems existing in thetwo kinds of Hough transform for detecting multiple targets, and then theproblem is improved. The steps of Randomized Hough transform was introducedin detail and the Ergodic Hough Transform and Modified Ergodic HoughTransform are proposed based on the Randomized Hough Transform. Then theconsuming time of four algorithms is analyzed, the performance of the fouralgorithms are analyzed by simulation. In view of real radar measured data, thepolar Hough transform and modified polar Hough transform are proposed, andthe effectiveness of the modifie algorithm has been proved by the simulation.3. In view of weak maneuvering target and multiple targets detecting and trackingproblem, the Hough transform for circle detection is studied. The Problem of Detecting and Tracking constant turning target was solved by circle parametersdetecting. The Modified Ergodic Hough transform was used for multinon-maneuvering targets detection. The methods are verified by simulation.4. The simulation platform for weak targets detection and tracking in complexenvironment was designed Based on the Matlab language based on the Matlablanguage, the function of each module in the platform was introduced detailed,and the operation process of the platform is demonstrated.
