With the development of china’s economy, the scale of industrial and domesticelectricity consumption is rising rapidly. Therefore, the size of power grid is expanding yearby year and the power load had a very large increase than before. The types of electricalequipment are growing fast for the size of power grid expanding and upgrading of electricalequipment. The main job of Jincheng Power Supply Bureau is to maintain and repairelectrical equipment. Because the maintenance of electrical equipment is very expensive, thusits costs occupy a relatively large proportion of the entire company’s expenditure.Thetraditional way of collecting and inquiring information of power equipment can not be appliedfor the current scale of equipment.It is the bottleneck problem that the company reduces thecosts of maintenance of power equipment.Using artificial ways to manage this kind of datacan also have a very significant impact on the safety of the power equipment.The rapiddevelopment of computer technology provides some methods to solve this problem.In orderto enhance the reliability and efficiency of Jincheng Power Supply Bureau’s power equipmentmanagement and reducing the company’s operating costs effectively,it is necessary to developa set of power equipment management system which can satisfy Jincheng Power SupplyBureau’s needs.This article develops a power equipment management system based on the specificsituation of Jincheng Power Supply Bureau and strictly followed by development process ofsoftware engineering.At first, this article summarizes the current situation of equipmentmanagement software in China and abroad, and introduces the purpose of developingequipment software. Then this article introduces the knowledge of programming languagesand database which are used during the system developing process. This system is based onB/S framework. SSH framework is applied during coding process in order to improve theimportance of code and stability of system.In this system, the underlying database uses freeMySQL database.So this article also introduces the features of MySQL database.In order to improve the system, this article makes demand analysis systematically based on the specificsituation of Jincheng Power Supply Bureau. In the demand analysis, this article make adetailed analysis on the feasibility of economy, technology and operations. And then itanalyzes the specific business, which divides this system into equipment documentmanagement, site management and system management. Then there is detailed design offunctional module of the system, which provides functional block diagram for each functionalmodule, and introduces deployment model and software framework. In the fifth chapter, thereis demonstration of the final system and provides precise code for several important functions.In order to insure the stability of system operation and find out the problems duringdevelopment process, there is a system test for the entire power equipment managementsystem in the sixth chapter, and giving out elaborate functional test list.The power equipment management system of Jincheng Power Supply Bureau hasalready been applied, and the system runs stably. The operation of this system can helpcompany improve equipment management and reduce the labor costs effectively, which hassignificant meanings for improving the company’s management level and operationalefficiency.
