Recently with the rapid development of the Internet and the deepening of thereform of education system, many colleges and universities have begun to use onlinecourses mechanism. Our success by applying for higher vocational colleges in2011,changed its name to the liaoning engineering vocational college.In2014we have thesecond grades pass the evaluation,in liaoning province.These years, in order topromote the construction and the rational allocation of the education resources,promoting the application of information technology in teaching management,actively promote the overall education quality and to enhance the efficiency ofrunning a school. We expanding our students, while the students resourse becomewidly. While the corresponding problem comes: for the student number is more andmore widely, more and more levels result in the campus resources scattered, teachingresource utility ratio is low, an acute shortage of teachers and management team. So,from the student personal information collection and management work according tothe actual demand of from the perspective of educational administration managementinformation platform, in order to solve the difficulty for students’ course selectionwork.I hava been a teacher in imformation center since2009for teaching work,andthen I have go to office of teaching affairs for the final exam and production scheduleduring2011to2012.So I am familiar to the teaching work and teaching affairs,andthis is one of the reasons of which I have take part in this project.The main purposethat I have do this jog is to let students registration more easy and convenient, tomake the teaching affairs more scientific and simply, while reducing unnecessary,complicated manual labor,Improving personnel management level of educationaladministration,improving work efficiency,distributing teaching resources. This system is useing for course selection system based on web mode, this modeof course selection system provides all the students with an equal and harmoniouscourse platform, all the information related to course selection can be instant sharingon course system, and convenient time educational administration personnel unifiedmanagement, unified timing of floor and even the entire school student courseselection results are collected, and at the same time arranging the class time and theclass teachers also other related content. As the modernization of education systemreform in colleges and universities and foreign students is increasingly expanding, andstudents who related to the processing of all kinds of information also becomesincreasingly heavy, is becoming more and more high to the requirement of courseselection system, it also highlights the importance of this system.This paper expounds the working principle of the students’ course selectionsystem which based on the web and implementation approach.this paper alsoemphasis on course selection efficiency. From the relevant technology introduction,system analysis, system design, system implementation and testing, systemmaintenance and prospect of this system were introduced in five aspects such as thedesign idea and thought. In this paper, through the analysis of the characteristics oftoday’s course selection system, puts forward the online course selection system basedon Web mode of basic design ideas, briefly introduces each function module anddatabase design, emphatically discusses the ASP technology and SQLServer2005developing online course selection system of database access technology, and presentsa part of the implementation code. In system maintenance part proposes severalmaintenance measures and matters needing attention, We give the developmentprospect of this system in the part of outlooking. This paper analyzes the currentstatus of online courses system at home and abroad, also expounds the B/S structure,AJAX,ASP, HTML and database related technologies. It describes how to solve theproblems encountered in the system administrator and teacher module, and the way torealize and use the function.Combining previous production of this kind of systemand the requirements of this international college has carried on the system. Through our research, the purpose is to solve our current course of studyenvironment, enhancing the quality and efficiency of the higher vocationaleducational administration work, so as to improve the management quality of coursesand the teaching quality. Make the course more scientific, standardization, efficiencyfor our credit system. The ultimate test proved that the system can provide ahigh-quality course selection which is more quickly and more efficiently for ourteachers and students.
