Tobacco contains a variety of compounds, most of which are harmful to human body, and the most harmful to human is Yanjian (Yanjian is that we often call nicotine).Comparing with nonsmokers, the long term smokers are more likely to suffer from many diseases, such as heart diseases, oral diseases, respiratory diseases, lung diseases and so on. Especially for pregnant women, smoking can cause serious harm to the fetus of pregnant women. As some smokers not only smoke in their private area, but also in public places, such as hospitals, shopping malls, classrooms, offices, this behavior will also bring harm to the people around, that it is often called the secondhand smoke. Due to the vast majority of not smoking in real life are the children, women and elderly, so that three people are the largest crowd who are affected by secondhand smoke, they even suffer from more harmful than those who smoke. With people’s health consciousness more and more strong, anti Smoking Act brook no delay. Multi-point wireless smoke control monitoring system is based on this purpose.The main work and achievements of this paper include the following aspects:1.The design of hardware and software of the system of monitoring points based on SCM can be used to detect the environmental temperature, smoke concentration (whether somebody is smoking here) and whether a fire occurs. When a fire occurs or someone smokes in one monitoring point, the SCM of this monitoring point automatically sends out light and sound alarm and report information to the monitoring terminal, reminding smokers that smoking is forbidden here. If smokers continue smoking, the monitoring terminal can also send instructions to SCM for turning off the LED light(or closing watchdog), so as to achieve the purpose of banning smoking.2.1n order to solve the problem of wiring installation of monitoring points in public places, having designed a mechanism of wireless data transmission between a plurality of monitoring points and monitoring terminal. The data of many monitoring points can be uploaded to the monitoring terminal, and the monitoring terminal also can send control commands to each monitoring point. Through these steps we can realize the wireless transmission of multi point data.3.The design of the monitoring terminal software based on the VB software. The wireless data that the SCM receives after processing will be sent to monitoring terminal software by the serial port. The interface of the monitoring terminal can display the temperature value, and whether somebody is smoking or a fire occurs here, at the same time, the temperature-time curves of the probe point can be drawn out on the interface; the monitoring terminal can also send instructions to each monitoring point.4.The test results of the system indicate that we can use the system to detect the smoke, temperature and fire of multiple probe points.
