Development Of A Server For Electronic Schoolbag Based On JAVA Language

With the rapid development of mobile Internet and the massive popularity of mobile terminals, electronic schoolbag comes in a new round of development opportunities. Electronic schoolbag can not only relieve the "burden" for students, but also can provide a convenient communication platform between teachers and students, it help to further improve the efficiency of teaching and learning, and make learning more enjoyable, it represents the future education development trend. This paper has carried on the research to electronic schoolbag, mainly involved in research on the PC server to support network technical for the operation of the mobile terminal.This paper first uses the JAVA language programming to achieve the server of the electronic schoolbag.It uses the SQL Server 2008 database to store information. Through the technology of socket communication, multithreading complete communication upon the student client, the teacher client and the server. It contains basic function such as register, login, class selection, attendance, classroom interaction and upload and download homework for the mobile client of student and teacher. It provides network communication service for teachers and students.This paper also implements the management client to provide the administrator to run the server management and manage the information management of the teachers and students. In programming design thesis used the SWING development kit to create administrator management interface, realize the administrator login, class management, student information to add and delete, the student attendance information, management of administrators, password modification and server, etc.Tests showed in this paper that the development of the server of electronic schoolbag, each function module, the whole system stably ran. It can preliminarily achieve the needs of daily teaching activities. It provides a new tool and platform.
