With the development of Internet technology, Information security is more and more attention by people, Everybody is focused on the development of various kinds of information about hiding technology. In the information hiding technology, images, text, audio, video is the basic carrier, the important information hiding in this carrier. Modify the carrier to make it difficult to detect. As the name implies, it is to hide the secrets of the important information in some way to achieve the purpose of confidentiality. In the information hiding, digital watermarking is a very important technology. This article is mainly based on the research of SVG digital watermarking algorithm, SVG is meaning for Scalable Vector Graphics, is a image format based on two-dimensional vector graphics, This image format is based on XML which is based on extensible markup language. In the aspect of the Internet and mobile terminal has been widely used, On this basis, combining with some typical algorithms of digital watermarking, the objective is to study the digital watermarking technology. In this paper, firstly introduces some background knowledge for digital watermark, including the research status of digital watermarking, the characteristics of digital watermarking, and the classification of digital watermarking. On the basis of the digital watermarking, it introduces the knowledge of vector digital watermark, from the three aspects, including the current research status, the main algorithm, and the research emphasis.The second part introduces the relevant knowledge of scalable vector graphics(SVG), the basic concept and its technical details. At the same time, according to the knowledge in the articles, its graphics technology are introduced. We draw a SVG graphics by writing code,its format is XML. Finally, we get a vector image. So, the SVG format image is a text, it is easy to understand and modify. For example, we can build indexes through content. Such as the shape elements. At the same time, the SVG can also use some special processing, all of these can be done by changing the code. We can add the shadow, can generate dynamic effect. Constitute an SVG vector image, we use the basic shapes. The tag elements include the root element(SVG), shape elements; and filter and gradient effect. This paper mainly use the d attribute of path.The third part of this paper gives the three kinds of digital watermarking algorithm based on SVG. The LSB digital watermarking algorithm based on the d attributes about SVG; The Parity period digital watermarking algorithm based on the d attributes about SVG; The DWT digital watermarking algorithm based on the d attributes about SVG. The three algorithms implemented a good combination of the SVG and Digital watermarking. Show the advantages of SVG graphics formats.
