With the continuous development of avionics systems, cockpit display systems have become an important factor affecting the performance of the aircraft, due to the complexity of human-computer interaction demands and highly integrated systems, the difficulty and cost of its development are multiplied. The appearance of ARINC661, the Aviation industry standard, making the development of cockpit display system ushered in a new surge. As new development specifications of cockpit display system, ARINC661 separated the "screen display and business logic" of cockpit display system, greatly reducing the difficulty and circle of cockpit display system development. The domestic research for this standard is still just beginning, and there are no proven development tools. So it is very important to research and implement the ARINC661.Combination the Analysis and study of the cockpit display system definition file on the further research of ARINC 661 standard, the paper designed a frame of definition file graphical interface designer. Based on this frame, the paper designed and implemented tools that used in the visual development of definition file. The paper firstly studies the basic principle of the ARINC661 specification, and focus on the format and organization structure of definition file. Secondly, combination the CDS definition file development process on analyze of the user requirements of definition file graphical interface designer, the paper proposed an architecture of definition file graphical interface designer. Then, based on this architecture, the designer is divided into multiple functional modules and to be designed and implemented in accordance with the module. And ultimately based on this designer to generate a binary format definition file and applied to the cockpit display system kernel for authentication.The implemented tool has been used to development and testing of cockpit display system, through practice tests and result analysis, this paper proves the correctness of the design and implementation of the definition file graphical interface development platform. With in-depth studies of ARINC661 standard in domestic related fields, research and realization of this paper have long-term significance and value.
