Image fusion algorithms based on multiscale geometric analysis and intuitionist fuzzy inference were reseached in this paper. With the intuitionist fuzzy inference system as the core, were made part of the intuitionistic fuzzy inference fusion algorithm and the full intuitionistic fuzzy inference fusion algorithm. The basic idea of the part intuitionistic fuzzy inference fusion algorithm is as following: first, make multi-scale geometric transform, then fuse the low-frequency components by regional energy method and the high-frequency components by intuitionistic fuzzy inference fusion method. Finally, the fused high-frequency components obtained by making inverse multi-scale geometric transform. The basic idea of the full intuitionistic fuzzy inference fusion algorithm is as following: first, make multi-scale geometric transform, then fuse the low-frequency components and the high-frequency components by intuitionistic fuzzy inference fusion method. Finally, the fused high-frequency components obtained by making inverse multi-scale geometric transform.Simulation experiments both in part intuitionistic fuzzy inference fusion algorithm and full intuitionistic fuzzy inference fusion algorithm were conducted. The experiment results show that the proposed algorithms are validity, feasibility and effectively. Compared with other fusion algorithm, and the algorithm present in this paper with high entropy, which indicates that the fused image gets more information; At the same time, with high average gradient, which indicates that the fused image more clearer and better fused image. All of above showed the proposed algorithms have certain advantages.
