Under the environment of big data, the Internet data overloads and users’ demands enhance. In the aspects of information covering and intelligent service, traditional search engines often showed many obvious disadvantages. A imed at these aspects, the intelligent meta-search engine was proposed to effectively improve the coverage of information and intelligence and received widespread attention. In the paper, the technology of Agent is introduced into the meta-search engine, it mainly focuses on the research of the self-adaptive scheduling strategy of members search engines and the dynamic merging method of retrieval results in Agent-based intelligent meta-search.This paper mainly introduces the research and implementation of member search engine scheduling and retrieval result merging of Agent based intelligent meta-search engine. Firstly, this paper clearly gives the deficiency existing in current search engines and meta-search engines, and it gives an overview of the relevant research situation at home and abroad. Then based on the introduction of the theory and technology related function required, such as Agent, member search engines scheduling and retrieval results merging, it gives the structure of intelligent meta search engine. Next the paper focuses on the member search engines’ adaptive scheduling strategy. It constructs the ability model of member search engines, put forwards the assessment method for member search engines of the combination of initial assessment based on the concept lattice and feedback assessment based on users’ click behaviors, then gives the implement process of the dynamic self-adaptive scheduling strategy of members search engines. Following, the paper gives an introduction of the dynamic merging method of retrieval results, designs a modified results sorting and merging methods of the combination of the results location, the weight of member search engines and users’ interests.According to the experiments to the scheduling of member search engines and the retrieval results merging, the scheduling strategy o f Agent based intelligent meta-search engine put forward in this paper can schedule the most appropriate member search engines dynamically and self-adaptively to fit the user’ intent.The dynamic merging method of retrieval results can obvious improve the information coverage level and therelevance of results, and it can get the guarantee for users’ search retrieval.
