With the development of wireless communication technology, the frequency spectrum of microwave is rather crowd. As an important component to isolate inference, Microwave frequencyselection component attract the researcher’s attention. The widely-used component microwave filter has been studied for decades. There is a mature method for its design. The research now is concentrating on the structure creativity. Recently, the derivative component multiband filter and diplexer have drawn much attention. Multiband filter is applied to broad communication system to separate the broad band into species. Then the signal transfer and receive in different channel. Diplexer is more widely used in mobile communication system. It connect antenna and power amplifier in TR to decrease the number of antenna and inference. Now the design method of multiband-flier and diplexer is not mature, many of the method is fit for special conditions. In this paper, we summarize the synthesis of multiband filter and diplexer, Exploiting the theory, a series of multiband filters and diplexers has been designed. The major work can be separate into these part below:1. Summarize the synthesis theory of microwave filter and diplexer, then design several software about synthesis to help design microwave filter and diplexer.2. Studying the space mapping to help optimize model quickly; and exploiting Cauthy-mentod to extract the coupling matrix of microwave filter to help debug in manufacture.3. Designing several multiband filter for verification.4. Designing several diplexer for theory verification.
