In laser processing, all solid-state lasers are replaced by solid-state lamp pumped solid lasers, which is present in the general trend. The driving power is considered as the core of the semiconductor laser processing equipment. Its performance directly affects the technical indexes of the laser device. Within the research background of the laser-cladding machine driving power, the thesis illustrates the related hardware circuit design and application, and the simulation and experimental verification.This thesis completed the following research work:First, according to the requirements of semiconductor laser cladding machine drive power technology, the design for the hardware and software has been done. Based on the principle of steady flow of the constant current source, the design for the constant current source driving circuit and optical power acquisition circuit hardware has been done. Constant current source driver circuit uses a drive mode of a series of feedback type of constant current source, on the other hand, the design of the drive surge elimination circuit has been done and overcurrent tests the circuit. At the same time, other related software designs have been done.Second, the design of semiconductor laser temperature control unit of hardware and software has been done, including temperature sampling circuit, temperature control circuit, and thermoelectric refrigeration circuit. Use the digital PI algorithm to complete the temperature closed-loop control of semiconductor laser.Third, the study has been made to the laser cladding machine energy control. By collecting the light power, we can use the digital PI algorithm to complete the closed loop optical power regulation.Fourth, the main circuit of semiconductor laser cladding machine drive power has been verified by simulation and experiments and the main circuit, DC steady state and transient noise are analyzed.Finally, the closed-loop simulation test has been made to the semiconductor laser temperature control unit and light power control system.The results of the previous experiments proved the correctness of the semiconductor laser cladding machine in the design of driving power supply.
