As frontier hotspot of interdisciplinary, single-cell analysis instrument has widely concerned both at home and abroad. This kind of instrument play an important role to study chemical information of individual cells, and help to explore the regularity of life activities. In addition, the instrument also has positive significance for medical diagnostics, disease treatment and cellular pathology analysis. Therefore, the performance of analysis instrument is the foundation and the key to the experimental result, and need to be studied.In this paper, the single-cell analysis instrument has some characteristics include multifunction and multi-detection mode. And the main operations are based on microfluidic chip. The chemical information and morphological change of the cell is mainly collected base on the optical imaging. So the sampling positioning control system of the instrument is needded to locate the cell in the microfluidic chip to the observation area of objective lens. Meanwhile the cell position can be adjusted slightly during the detection and analysis according to the requirement of researchers. In this paper, the sampling positioning control of single-cell analysis instrument is studied, and the main work of the paper is as follows:(1)The application of embedded technology in single-cell analysis instrument is studied. And combined with the features of instrument and the own requirements of embedded control system, the various architectures of embedded processor and embedded operating systems are studied. And finallly the software and hardware platform used in this paper are decided.(2)The development process of embedded system is detailed studied, including hardware resources of ARM9 processor platform; establish system development environment, install and transplant the development tools; transplant the bootloader and the kernel of embedded Linux system, and make the root file system. (3)On the basis of the general instrument control methods, the application of PID control with RBF neural network algorithm in sampling positioning control is thoroughly researched. And contrapose the insufficient of algorithm, the genetic algorithm is used to optimized. According to the SMULINK modeling, the control methods are simulated and compared. And base on the simulation result, the positioning effect of the control method which designed is better.(4)According to the requirements of sampling positioning control, the touchscreen software development on the embedded platform is researched, and the device driver program is writed. In addition, the embedded Websever is transplanted and the CGI program is developed to complete the web page which as upper monitor to control the system. And finally the function of system is tested based on the hardware platform.
