Railway signal equipment is the important infrastructure for ensuring traffic safety. Therefore it is particularly important to increase the intensity of signal equipment maintenance with the continuous improvement of train speed. Traditional maintenance management methods for railway signal have many shortcomings, which mainly include weak real-time capacity for patrol results uploading and troubleshooting, missing and nonstandard for gathering information, decentralized management for patrol information and large labor intensity. Based on above problems, it is of practical significance to develop a set of fast and efficient real-time maintenance management system for railway signal.The technologies of mobile database, radio frequency identification(RFID) and wireless communication are applied in maintenance management system for railway signal, to achieve fast data acquisition for signal equipment and personnel information, real-time data query and troubleshooting. The mobile database synchronization technology is used to ensure that foud hidden danger or fault information of signal device is uploaded and repair orders are issued in time, effectively shortens the troubleshooting time in the system. It also provides reliable, accurate data for future maintenance management and realizes signal equipment maintenance management informationization.Firstly, the whole framework of system is designed according to the analysis of traditional maintenance management system characteristics and its functional requirements. The system includes patrol terminal, background maintenance management system and equipment, personnel information cards and elaborates each module structure and realization function.Secondly, the system is analyzed and designed in detail. The mobile database is established in patrol terminal, accessing to data by using caching technology and developing RFID read-write module and wireless communication module of the terminal. The central database table structure and corresponding table functions are designed to realize background maintenance management system functions. The data synchronization process between mobile database and central database is realized. The data synchronization completes data conflict detection and digestion by establishing union transaction-level result-set propagation(UTLRSP) synchronization model and realizes the two-way synchronization of data with incremental updating algorithm based on priority. The performance of synchronous model and incremental priority algorithm is analyzed through the Matlab simulation platform at the same time. In addition, the security of synchronous transmission data is analyzed, based on the improved encryption algorithm to achieve data encryption for transmission data, which guarantes the security of mobile database data and improvs the efficiency of algorithm process.Finally, the testing is completed throughout the system. The interactive interface of the background system is designed to call to the central database via the visual sudio tool, to achieve personnel, equipment information management, patrol program scheduling and other functions. Then the background system and the patrol are jointed to debug other functions. The system debug results show that it can achieve paperless data collection, inspection results and process faults command real-time transmission.
