In LTE communication system, cell interference coordination technology has become a hotspot wide attention. Enhance the performance of cell edge users, system throughput and spectrum utilization rate are the main target of inter cell interference coordination. This paper first introduces the background and significance of communication system, then it introduces the classification of the cell interference coordination technology and some of the classic scheme. Analysis of advantages and disadvantages of each scheme, focuses on the classical scheme’s optimization. Aiming at the soft frequency reuse technology in improving the frequency reuse factor does not consider the distribution of each district relation, area in the whole system of user and load shortages, proposed adaptive soft frequency allocation algorithm based on genetic algorithm.The algorithm through the analysis of the number of users in the cell and the distribution, according to the relation between each cell for frequency assignment of the system, which can be solved the problem of low spectral efficiency. Through simulation experiments the new algorithm and the other three classical algorithms were compared to verify. The results prove that the adaptive reuse of frequency allocation algorithm is capable of fast global frequency distribution, optimize the system spectral efficiency, improve the system throughput and the average rate of edge users.
