Since the birth of the Internet, the research of it has never stopped. With the increase of the user, the Internet has become a huge digital artificial system. When the subject of complex networks appears, scholars have launched a new Research direction on the Internet. It mainly includes: the topology of the Internet, the connectedness, average path length, cluster coefficient, auditing, betweenness and power-law distribution of complex networks. Today the Internet carries all kinds of important information about our society, so we have to maintain it and make it safe to run at the same timeThe word "avalanche" often appears in science of complex network, this is the image description of the network cascading failures. In complex networks, a few of nodes or edges failure, then they will lead to other nodes or edges faults through the coupling relationship between them. The chain effect of the occurrence like this,eventually will lead to the breakdown of the network, this is complex network cascading failure. Scholars have proposed robustness of the network and use it to measure the cascading failures of the network. In this dissertation, we do the following work about the Internet robustness:1. Introduction several typical network model of complex network in the process of its development and their creation rules. Learning to build the Internet topology model technology in different hierarchy, including data acquisition, correction, analysis and processing. To ensure the provision of reliable data source for the creation of the Internet topology model.2. Analysis of the cascading failure propagation in Internet by different types of attack and topology of brittle. Firstly, processing the Internet measurement data,then based on the Matlab simulation software platform, realize the whole design process. Analysis of influence of parameters on Internet topology brittle in the simulation experiment, and then assess their impact on the spread of the Internet cascading failures. In three different attack modes, Validation and scientific adjustment parameter which is effect the network topology fragility. It was found that in the face of random attack shows good robustness and high vulnerability when deliberate attack. Statistics actual load impact on Internet topology brittle, found that the larger actual load in the network, the smaller network connectivity, and the robustness also weakens.3. Finally put forward to restrain the Internet topology brittle scheme, and proved it is worked in different attack types. The main program is to increase the redundancy factor of the network, tested in random attack and intentional attack respectively. In addition, according to the network elasticity, tries to put forward the inhibition network topology brittleness method and new standard of topology brittle.
