Wireless sensor networks(WSN) is currently concerned of a hot research area, it is widely used in military and defense, aerosp ace, environmental monitoring, traffic management, medical care and other fiel ds. With the progress of science and technology, technology of multi-target tracking sensor network has been widely used. Because of the perception, processing, communication capabilities of the sensor nodes and other resources are limited, it is difficult to complete the needs of the target single sensor network applications. Collab oration of multi-sensor networks c an effectively solve the wireless sensor network’s demand of application and the contradiction among the resource-constrained nodes, it also m ake full use of network resources to achieve tasks’ parallel processing.In WSN applications, multi-sensor network collaboration monitoring technology in wireless sensor networks is a key technol ogy plays an im portant role in W SN, and conduct multi-sensor network collaborative monitoring research has im portant significance. Based on the characteristics of wireless sensor networks, this paper combined the multi-agent(MAS) and the of wireless sensor networks, and carried out multi-sensor network collaborative monitoring applications’ research techniques. First, the section of task’s collaboration of multi-sensor networks is researched, the focused research are architectu re of the multi-senso r networks, task synergy principle, and collaboration of multi-sensor networks based on multi-agent, further an improved task synergy study based on multi-agent system is conducted. Secondly, the section of target tracking of multi-sensor networks is resear ched, the f ocused research are the tar get motion and m easurement models, the study of the existing Bayesian target tracking algorithm, the classical Ka lman filter algorith m, nonlinear filtering algorithm and smoothing techniques the basic m echanism are carry out. a study of the characteristics of the target tracking nonlinear filtering algorithm by setting selection factor, carried out effective integration of nonlinear filtering al gorithm. Because of th e characteristics of the target tracking non linear filtering algorithm, effective integration of nonlinear filtering algorithm is ca rried out by setting s election factor. Finally, th e research of communication protocol of the multi-sensor network is carried out, the focused research are spread spectrum technology in the physical layer of m ulti-sensor network system; wireless channel data link layer access technology is studied; the network layer routing protocols are studied. Based on theoretica l research, the key m ethods have been modeled and designed, which are im plemented and analysed with Visual C ++ 6.0, MATLAB 7.1 simulation platform. The correctness and effectiveness of m ethods are verified by simulation results.
