Active radar is vulnerable to electronic interference and anti-radiation guided missile attack due to the fact that the electromagnetic signal it emits is easy to reconnoiter and intercept. In contrast, passive radars detect, locate and track target by using external illuminator. This kind of radar becomes a research hotspot in the field of radar for its ability to detect stealth and low altitude target, as well as its anti-interference ability and good concealment performance. This dissertation is mainly concerned with the real-time realization of data processing in passive radar. The author’s major contributions are outlined as follows:1. The algorithm for data processing in passive radar has been studied. This thesis introduces the localization method based on spherical intersection(SX) algorithm, track processing theory and the Unscented Kalman Filter(UKF) algorithm, and then proposes a data processing scheme based on clustering. Its feasibility is verified by the simulation data.2. A C/C++ real-time realization of the data processing algorithm in passive radar has been studied. With the aid of the open source matrix library Armadillo, which is not only ease of use but also possesses high-performance, a painless transition of corresponding data processing matlab code into C/C++ code is implemented. On the basis of the traditional linear data structure, the required data structure in this program is designed. Then the real-time realization of the given algorithm is achieved. The experimental results on data of multifrequency show that the program has an excellent real-time performance.3. The development of radar control-display terminal has been introduced and the method for the track playback has been studied. Firstly, according to the project requirements, an implementation scheme of radar control-display terminal based on Microsoft’s MFC is presented. The flexible user interface is realized by designing different groups of menu options. Secondly, a method for resolving and extracting the ADS-B civil aviation tracks is proposed. Finally, on designing and realizing the trackplayback structure, software timer drive mode is employed to achieve the track playback on the terminal.4. A data transmission method between multi-radar has been studied. It’s a further effective measure to improve the positioning performance by applying multi sensor information fusion technology to multi passive radar systems. Necessarily, the problem of data transmission between multi stations should be firstly solved. In this thesis a data transmission scheme based on 3G wireless network is proposed. The effectiveness of the transmission scheme is verified via the send and receive test, which builds a foundation for the netting detection based on multi radar data fusion technology in the future.
