This paper is mainly about the time-domain physical-optics method(TDPO), the method of moment in time-domain(MOMTD), and the hybrid method based on TDPO and MOMTD. The hybrid method is also a method in time domain. Using this hybrid method to analysis the antenna placement, leads some useful conclusions. The paper is divided into the following sections:1. Analysis on the time-domain physical-optics method. According to the physical optics method, there are two ways to deduct the time-domain physical-optics method. On this basis of using the time-domain physical-optics method, the Doppler spectrum of helicopter rotor can be calculated, which provides a new way for target detection of hovering helicopter.2. Analysis on the time-domain method of moment. Based on the method of moment, time factor is introduced to get the time-domain method of moment. Two kinds of solution of time-domain method of moment are introduced: explicit MOT algorithm and implicit MOT algorithm. By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of these two solutions, the specific solution of time-domain method of moment is presented. With the use of time-domain method of moment, RCS of several typical targets are calculated. An algorithm pattern of broadband antenna is been calculated.3. Analysis on the hybrid method of time-domain physical-optics method and time-domain method of moment. According to the traditional frequency method, combined with the characteristics of time domain algorithm, the hybrid method in time domain is obtained. With the use of time-domain hybrid method, RCS of several typical targets are calculated.4. Analysis on antenna placement. Basic concept of the antenna placement is introducedThe relationship between antenna position and isolation of the antenna is been analyzed.Through the hybrid method in time-domain, the relationship between the position of theantenna and the corresponding scattering field in time-domain is been analyzed.
